In February 2019 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction The L.D. "Brink" Brinkman Collection Online, which included the work The Marshall III by Harry Jackson. The result of USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,757.62) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harry Jackson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Sacagawea, Study for the Monument', A Bronze Figure in November 2002 with an auction result of USD 47,800.00 (€ 48,127.27).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Februar 2019 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion The L.D. "Brink" Brinkman Collection Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Marshall III von Harry Jackson zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.757,62) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harry Jackson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Sacagawea, Study for the Monument', A Bronze Figure im November 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.800,00 (€ 48.127,27).
