Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Marshall II 29 in. high by Harry Jackson was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,575.00 (€ 16,056.38). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Harry Jackson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Sacagawea, Study for the Monument', A Bronze Figure, which sold at auction in November 2002 for USD 47,800.00 (€ 48,127.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Marshall II 29 in. high von Harry Jackson kam im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 16.575,00 (€ 16.056,38) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Harry Jackson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'Sacagawea, Study for the Monument', A Bronze Figure beobachtet, die im November 2002 für USD 47.800,00 (€ 48.127,27) versteigert wurde.
