Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2000 a collector was able to acquire the work Francis Bacon with Lucien Freud; Lucien Freud; and Self-Portrait, all circa 1974 by Harry Diamond for GBP 235.00 (€ 401.68). This price was achieved in the auction 19th and 20th Century Photographs at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 900.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harry Diamond achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Francis Bacon And Lucian Freud In Dean St., Soho, 1973 Peter Blake, 1974 Gilbert And George, 1975 Sir William Coldstream, 1975 in April 2014 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,129.24).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2000 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Francis Bacon with Lucien Freud; Lucien Freud; and Self-Portrait, all circa 1974 von Harry Diamond für GBP 235,00 (€ 401,68) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Photographs bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 900,00.
