In the The Alan and Simone Hartman CollectionThe Inaugural Sale auction, the work The Vine sold for USD 15,360.00 (€ 13,885.37) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harriet Whitney Frishmuth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Vine in May 2009 with an auction result of USD 962,500.00 (€ 681,367.69).
