This artwork by Harold Roth achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in December 2011. In the Photographs Including Crossing America: Photographs from The Consolidated Freightways Collection, Part II auction, the work Brooklyn Bridge; and Lower East Side, 1947 sold for USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,335.93) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Harold Roth; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Forest Avenue at 166th Street, The Bronx, 1939 sold at auction in August this year with the realized price of USD 5,670.00 (€ 5,231.11).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Harold Roth erzielte im Dezember 2011 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Photographs Including Crossing America: Photographs from The Consolidated Freightways Collection, Part II wurde die Arbeit Brooklyn Bridge; and Lower East Side, 1947 für USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.335,93) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00.
