In the Photographs Including Crossing America: Photographs from The Consolidated Freightways Collection, Part II auction, the work Brooklyn Bridge; and Lower East Side, 1947 sold for USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,335.93) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Harold Roth; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Forest Avenue at 166th Street, The Bronx, 1939 sold at auction in August this year with the realized price of USD 5,670.00 (€ 5,231.11).
