The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,061.58), 34% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harold Gilman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Interior (Mrs Mounter) in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 485,000.00 (€ 572,252.32).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.061,58) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harold Gilman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Interior (Mrs Mounter) im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 485.000,00 (€ 572.252,32).
