The result of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,400.47) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,500.00 – 4,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harold E. Edgerton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Harold Edgerton: Ten Dye Transfer Photographs' in October 2019 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 53,787.54).
