Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mechanical Kangaroo, Multiflash by Harold E. Edgerton was auctioned at Bonhams in Skinner Boston in January 2024. The price achieved of USD 358.40 (€ 313.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harold E. Edgerton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Harold Edgerton: Ten Dye Transfer Photographs' in October 2019 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 53,787.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mechanical Kangaroo, Multiflash von Harold E. Edgerton kam im Januar 2024 bei Bonhams in Skinner Boston zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 358,40 (€ 313,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Harold E. Edgerton erzielen.
