This price was achieved in the auction Modern British and Irish Art at Bonhams in Los Angeles and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 many times over. This high result makes Abstract Figure the most expensive artwork by Harold Cohen that we have observed at auctions so far.
