In November 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work British springtime In The Orchard by Harold Charles Francis Harvey for USD 56,250.00 (€ 43,235.97). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Harold Charles Francis Harvey have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2010 by the work British girl With A Red Hat at USD 86,500.00 (€ 66,354.71).
