This work without title by Harold Ancart was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November last year. It achieved a price of HKD 2,772,000.00 (€ 343,982.56), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Harold Ancart - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May 2021 for USD 1,018,500.00 (€ 835,246.84).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Harold Ancart kam im November letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 2.772.000,00 (€ 343.982,56) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Für andere Arbeiten von Harold Ancart mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai 2021 für USD 1.018.500,00 (€ 835.246,84) versteigert wurde.
