Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Still Life With A Ham, A Fish, A Candle And Other Objects Arranged On The Edge Of A Tabletop; Still Life With A Ewer And Some Fruit On A Partly-Draped Stone Ledge by Harmen Steenwijck for GBP 22,500 (€ 26,947). This price was achieved in the auction Old Master and British Paintings Day Sale at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 25,000 – 35,000 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Harmen Steenwijck - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Still Life Of A Quince, Grapes, Peaches, A Walnut, And Hazelnuts On A Wooden Ledge, which sold at auction in December 2017 for GBP 93,750 (€ 105,502).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Still Life With A Ham, A Fish, A Candle And Other Objects Arranged On The Edge Of A Tabletop; Still Life With A Ewer And Some Fruit On A Partly-Draped Stone Ledge von Harmen Steenwijck im Dezember 2011 bei Sothebys in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
