Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of a lady, half-length, in a blue and white dress with a pink shawl and white cap, a rose in her right hand, a landscape beyond by Harmen Serin was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 840.00 (€ 1,218.11) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harmen Serin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of Hubertus Snoeck (1703-1773), Seated Three-Quarter Length, In A Library, Wearing A Grey Suit With A White Chemise, A Classical Garden Beyond in May 2009 with an auction result of EUR 13,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portrait of a lady, half-length, in a blue and white dress with a pink shawl and white cap, a rose in her right hand, a landscape beyond von Harmen Serin kam im Februar 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion.
