Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Hari Ambadas Gade was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in March 2013. It changed hands for a price of USD 11,875.00 (€ 9,265.76) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hari Ambadas Gade have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Houses in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 42,613.64).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Hari Ambadas Gade wurde im März 2013 in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 9.265,76) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hari Ambadas Gade auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Houses im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 42.613,64).
