Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2021 Christies in New York held the auction South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Including Works by Benodebehari Mukherjee from the Mrinalini Mukherjee Foundation, which included the work Untitled (Kashmir Landscape) by Hari Ambadas Gade. Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,451.25). Admittedly, works by Hari Ambadas Gade have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Houses in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 42,613.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art Including Works by Benodebehari Mukherjee from the Mrinalini Mukherjee Foundation durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Kashmir Landscape) von Hari Ambadas Gade zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.451,25) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hari Ambadas Gade auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Houses im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 42.613,64).
