In September 2019 Christies in New York held the auction South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art, which included the work The Yellow Church by Hari Ambadas Gade. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,000.00 (€ 9,170.11), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Hari Ambadas Gade have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Houses in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 52,500.00 (€ 42,613.64).

Im September 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Yellow Church von Hari Ambadas Gade zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 9.170,11) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hari Ambadas Gade auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Houses im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 42.613,64).
