Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Hari Ambadas Gade achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in October 2016. In the Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art auction, the work Untitled (Two Houses) sold for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,317.92) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hari Ambadas Gade - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Houses, which sold at auction in March 2018 for USD 52,500.00 (€ 42,613.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hari Ambadas Gade erzielte im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary South Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Untitled (Two Houses) für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.317,92) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hari Ambadas Gade mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Houses beobachtet, die im März 2018 für USD 52.500,00 (€ 42.613,64) versteigert wurde.
