A top price for Hanslip Fletcher - as previously expected
The work Phoenix Assurance, West End; and Phoenix Assurance, Lombard Street by Hanslip Fletcher was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2005. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 600.00 – 1,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 660.00 (€ 974.37) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Phoenix Assurance, West End; and Phoenix Assurance, Lombard Street is the most expensive artwork by Hanslip Fletcher that we have observed at auctions so far.
