Die Arbeit Wrack am Strand. von Hans von Bartels wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion Auktionen 207-214 - Kunst des 19. Jahrhunderts bei Grisebach versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.220,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 53 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans von Bartels erzielen.
