Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Hans Staudacher was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of DKK 40,000.00 – 50,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for DKK 28,000.00 (€ 3,758.97). Admittedly, works by Hans Staudacher have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Illusion Wien 1949-51 (Illusion Vienna 1949-51) in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 32,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Hans Staudacher im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 40.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für DKK 28.000,00 (€ 3.758,97) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hans Staudacher auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Illusion Wien 1949-51 (Illusion Vienna 1949-51) im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 32.500,00.
