Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Triumphal Cortege of Charles V (Holl. 50-57) by Hans Schäufelein the Elder was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2010. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,959.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Schäufelein the Elder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of a man, bust-length, wearing a hat in January 2002 with an auction result of USD 270,000.00 (€ 314,172.68).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Triumphal Cortege of Charles V (Holl.
