In April 2011 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters & 19th Century Art, which included the work The hunting party by Hans Richard von Volkmann. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,096.97), 38% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hans Richard von Volkmann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Eine Heugarbe mit spielenden Kindern davor, which sold at auction in November 2012 for EUR 7,095.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Im April 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The hunting party von Hans Richard von Volkmann zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.096,97) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Hans Richard von Volkmann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Eine Heugarbe mit spielenden Kindern davor beobachtet, die im November 2012 für EUR 7.095,00 versteigert wurde.
