Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Hans Potthof could be acquired at Christies in London in October 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work Austernfischer changed hands for GBP 1,062.50 (€ 1,356.66) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Potthof achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Strandszene Beach Scenery in May 2011 with an auction result of CHF 18,750.00 (€ 15,049.82).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hans Potthof konnte im Oktober 2014 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Austernfischer für GBP 1.062,50 (€ 1.356,66) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Potthof erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Strandszene Beach Scenery im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 18.750,00 (€ 15.049,82).
