Despite a disappointment, a good price for Hans Gedda
When the work "Nelson Mandela", 1990 by Hans Gedda was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2016, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 200,000.00 – 250,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 180,000.00 (€ 19,382.13). Despite this disappointing result, "Nelson Mandela", 1990 is the most expensive artwork by Hans Gedda that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Hans Gedda
Als die Arbeit "Nelson Mandela", 1990 von Hans Gedda im Mai 2016 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 200.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 180.000,00 (€ 19.382,13) den Besitzer. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist "Nelson Mandela", 1990 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Hans Gedda, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
