Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "Kung Carl XVI Gustafs hand", 1996. by Hans Gedda. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 16,000.00 (€ 1,573.40) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Gedda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Nelson Mandela", 1990 in May 2016 with an auction result of SEK 180,000.00 (€ 19,382.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2021 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Kung Carl XVI Gustafs hand", 1996. von Hans Gedda zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 16.000,00 (€ 1.573,40) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Gedda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Nelson Mandela", 1990 im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 180.000,00 (€ 19.382,13).
