Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Hans Bellmer achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Paris in December this year. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Sans titre sold for EUR 20,480.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Bellmer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self-Portrait With Die Puppe in October 2012 with an auction result of USD 374,500.00 (€ 289,010.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hans Bellmer erzielte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Sans titre für EUR 20.480,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Bellmer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Self-Portrait With Die Puppe im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 374.500,00 (€ 289.010,65).
