The work Sans titre by Hans Bellmer was sold in the Belgian and contemporary art auction at Bonhams in Brussels in December this year. It achieved a price of EUR 8,320.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Bellmer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self-Portrait With Die Puppe in October 2012 with an auction result of USD 374,500.00 (€ 289,010.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 39 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Hans Bellmer wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Belgian and contemporary art bei Bonhams in Brüssel versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 8.320,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Bellmer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Self-Portrait With Die Puppe im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 374.500,00 (€ 289.010,65).
