This artwork by Hans Bellmer achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in October this year. In the Prints & Multiples Online auction, the work Sans titre, 1946 sold for EUR 409.60 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 150.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hans Bellmer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Self-Portrait With Die Puppe in October 2012 with an auction result of USD 374,500.00 (€ 289,010.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hans Bellmer erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints & Multiples Online wurde die Arbeit Sans titre, 1946 für EUR 409,60 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 150,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hans Bellmer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Self-Portrait With Die Puppe im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 374.500,00 (€ 289.010,65).
