Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Particules by Hannibal Srouji was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in May 2006. The price achieved of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,675.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hannibal Srouji - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gates, which sold at auction in October 2011 for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,913.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Particules von Hannibal Srouji kam im Mai 2006 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.675,45) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Hannibal Srouji mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Gates beobachtet, die im Oktober 2011 für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.913,01) versteigert wurde.
