Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fire II by Hannibal Srouji was sold in the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in February 2007. The price achieved of USD 13,200.00 (€ 9,977.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by Hannibal Srouji have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2011 the work Gates was auctioned for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 15,913.01).

Die Arbeit Fire II von Hannibal Srouji wurde im Februar 2007 in der Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 13.200,00 (€ 9.977,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Hannibal Srouji konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2011 die Arbeit Gates für GBP 13.750,00 (€ 15.913,01) versteigert.
