This artwork by Hannes Kilian achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in New York in April 2021. In the Photographs auction, the work Paris (Eiffel Tower) sold for USD 2,167.50 (€ 1,801.75) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hannes Kilian - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Es Wird Wieder Getanzt!', 1955 'Spanien: In Den Dünen Von Alicante', 1965, which sold at auction in May 2015 for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,951.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 81 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hannes Kilian erzielte im April 2021 bei Bonhams in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Photographs wurde die Arbeit Paris (Eiffel Tower) für USD 2.167,50 (€ 1.801,75) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hannes Kilian mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'Es Wird Wieder Getanzt!', 1955 'Spanien: In Den Dünen Von Alicante', 1965 beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.951,97) versteigert wurde.
