In February 2021 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Unwrapped, Part I: The Hidden World of Christo and Jeanne-Claude, which included the work Needed-Erase-Her by Hannah Wilke. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 63,000.00 26% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Hannah Wilke have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work S.O.S. Starification Object Series in September 2017 with an auction result of USD 708,500.00 (€ 599,762.97).

Im Februar 2021 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Unwrapped, Part I: The Hidden World of Christo and Jeanne-Claude durch, in der auch die Arbeit Needed-Erase-Her von Hannah Wilke zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 63.000,00 und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hannah Wilke auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit S.O.S. Starification Object Series im September 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 708.500,00 (€ 599.762,97).
