Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Crossing the English Channel by Hamish Fulton was sold in the 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam auction at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2021. The price achieved of EUR 4,375.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hamish Fulton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled: Day 2, Wales England, Summer 1987 in April 2013 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,601.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Crossing the English Channel von Hamish Fulton wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.375,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hamish Fulton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled: Day 2, Wales England, Summer 1987 im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 23.601,15).
