This price was achieved in the auction Horizon | Post-War and Contemporary Art at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 500.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Hamish Fulton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled: Day 2, Wales England, Summer 1987 in April 2013 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,601.15).
