Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dirt Urgent by Hadrian Pigott was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2012. The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,231.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hadrian Pigott - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cadillac (black)., which sold at auction in June 2021 for EUR 4,515.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dirt Urgent von Hadrian Pigott kam im November 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.231,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Hadrian Pigott mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cadillac (black). beobachtet, die im Juni 2021 für EUR 4.515,00 versteigert wurde.
