Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Conjunction 85-66 by Ha Chong-Hyun was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. The price achieved of HKD 150,000.00 (€ 17,524.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ha Chong-Hyun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Conjunction 74-24 in November 2018 with an auction result of HKD 2,750,000.00 (€ 310,385.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Conjunction 85-66 von Ha Chong-Hyun wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 150.000,00 (€ 17.524,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ha Chong-Hyun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Conjunction 74-24 im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.750.000,00 (€ 310.385,94).
