A top price for H. Williams - as previously expected
The work A Highland landscape by H. Williams was sold in the British, Victorian and Scottish Pictures auction at Christies in London in March 2003. The price achieved of GBP 1,057.50 (€ 1,531.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, A Highland landscape is the most expensive artwork by H. Williams that we have observed at auctions so far.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.057,50 (€ 1.531,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden.
