Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Mr Gills Confidence by Henry S. Cottrell was sold in the Sporting Art, Wildlife and Dogs auction at Christies in London in June 2006. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,320.00 (€ 1,910.02). Other works by Henry S. Cottrell have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,747.30) in October 2010 for the work Joining in the hunt; Full speed; and Flooded.
