Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2012 Christies in London held the auction Vintage Posters and Olympic Icons, which included the work Pneu Vélo Michelin by H. L. Roowy. The price achieved of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,839.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Other works by H. L. Roowy have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2015 the work PNEU VÉLO MICHELIN was auctioned for GBP 2,250.00 (€ 3,172.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Vintage Posters and Olympic Icons durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pneu Vélo Michelin von H. L. Roowy zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.839,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von H. L. Roowy konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2015 die Arbeit PNEU VÉLO MICHELIN für GBP 2.250,00 (€ 3.172,47) versteigert.
