Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The harvest of the rocks by Harry John Johnstone was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2005. The price achieved of GBP 240.00 (€ 352.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Harry John Johnstone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Gathering clams in September 2001 with an auction result of GBP 6,462.50 (€ 10,434.18).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 240,00 (€ 352,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben worden.
