Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by H. H. Lim achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Milan in May 2007. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Abracadabra sold for EUR 6,200.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by H. H. Lim; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Bull sold at auction in November 2018 with the realized price of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,286.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von H. H. Lim erzielte im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Abracadabra für EUR 6.200,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von H. H. Lim; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Bull im November 2018 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.286,76).
