György's perspective clearly has affinities with that of William Klein, but his manic exuberance seems to run on pure energy' (The Photobook). A very good copy. The Photobook, vol. I, pp.262-63.

A top price for György Lörinczy - as previously expected
The work New York, New York. Budapest: Magyar Helikon, 1972. by György Lörinczy was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2010. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,464.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, New York, New York. Budapest: Magyar Helikon, 1972. is the most expensive artwork by György Lörinczy that we have observed at auctions so far.
