Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California and Western Art40th Anniversary Auction, which included the work View of Wood's Cove, Rockledge by Guy Rose. It changed hands for a price of USD 560,075.00 (€ 480,874.90) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Other works by Guy Rose have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2001 the work Incoming Fog, La Jolla was auctioned for USD 545,000.00 (€ 644,589.00).

Im Oktober 2020 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California and Western Art40th Anniversary Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit View of Wood's Cove, Rockledge von Guy Rose zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 560.075,00 (€ 480.874,90) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 400.000,00 – 600.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Guy Rose konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2001 die Arbeit Incoming Fog, La Jolla für USD 545.000,00 (€ 644.589,00) versteigert.
