Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life with Onions, Peppers and Basket by Guy Rose was auctioned at Christies in Beverly Hills in October 2008. The price achieved of USD 47,500.00 (€ 37,454.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Guy Rose achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Incoming Fog, La Jolla in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 545,000.00 (€ 644,589.00).
