Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2004 Christies in Beverly Hills held the auction CALIFORNIA, WESTERN AND AMERICAN PAINTINGS, which included the work Morning Mists by Guy Rose. Here, the upper estimate of USD 700,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 791,500.00 (€ 596,953.01). Other works by Guy Rose have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 545,000.00 (€ 644,589.00) in May 2001 for the work Incoming Fog, La Jolla.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November 2004 führte Christies in Beverly Hills die Auktion CALIFORNIA, WESTERN AND AMERICAN PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Morning Mists von Guy Rose zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 700.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 791.500,00 (€ 596.953,01) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Guy Rose haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 545.000,00 (€ 644.589,00) im Mai 2001 für die Arbeit Incoming Fog, La Jolla beobachtet.
