The work Guy Bourdin Archives, 1978 by Guy Bourdin was sold in the Photographies auction at Christies in Paris in May last year. It achieved a price of EUR 27,720.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Guy Bourdin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French Vogue, March 1972, which sold at auction in May 2017 for GBP 50,000.00 (€ 57,427.02).

Die Arbeit Guy Bourdin Archives, 1978 von Guy Bourdin wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Photographies bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 27.720,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Guy Bourdin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit French Vogue, March 1972 beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für GBP 50.000,00 (€ 57.427,02) versteigert wurde.
