Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 16,250.00 (€ 13,143.00). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gustavo Montoya - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gustavo Montoya (1905-2003), which sold at auction in May 2018 for USD 43,750.00 (€ 37,489.29).
