Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Les Martigues by Gustave Loiseau was auctioned at Christies in New York in May this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 60,480.00 (€ 56,767.41) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gustave Loiseau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'hôtel de Mademoiselle Ernestine, Saint-Jouin (Finistère) ou Le verger de Mademoiselle Ernestine, Saint-Jouin in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 774,000.00 (€ 685,744.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Les Martigues von Gustave Loiseau kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 60.480,00 (€ 56.767,41) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gustave Loiseau erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'hôtel de Mademoiselle Ernestine, Saint-Jouin (Finistère) ou Le verger de Mademoiselle Ernestine, Saint-Jouin im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 774.000,00 (€ 685.744,66).
