Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2010 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Reflections of a coureur by Gustave Asselbergs. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gustave Asselbergs achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Amerika, Amerika in April 2011 with an auction result of EUR 27,150.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2010 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Reflections of a coureur von Gustave Asselbergs zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gustave Asselbergs erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Amerika, Amerika im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.150,00.
