Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2012 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Spring Modern Auction, Stockholm, which included the work "Kyrkbacken, Hven" (Church, Hven, Sweden) by Gustav Rudberg. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 21,000.00 (€ 2,358.91) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gustav Rudberg - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blue ocean, which sold at auction in October 2013 for SEK 55,000.00 (€ 6,352.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2012 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Spring Modern Auction, Stockholm durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Kyrkbacken, Hven" (Church, Hven, Sweden) von Gustav Rudberg zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 21.000,00 (€ 2.358,91) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Gustav Rudberg mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Blue ocean beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für SEK 55.000,00 (€ 6.352,07) versteigert wurde.
